What to do when baby is ready for solids
Starting your baby on solid foods is the beginning of a whole new and exciting adventure for everyone. It can also be a challenge! Knowing what to cook, in what amounts and what to serve is all part of the journey.
Sometimes, it can be frustrating to make up a big batch of freshly pureed food that only has be thrown away later because there was too much of it, or no way to store it.
The Smart Portions® Feeding Solutions have been designed to ensure that making, storing and serving food is simple.
When used in combination with the Happy Baby Smart Portions® range, our recommended smart portion sizes, and set of healthy, fresh recipes will promote a healthy eating system that will be simple and convenient to follow.
Follow the fresh approach to feeding baby!
A Smart Start
The Smart Portions® Freezer trays have small 25ml portions so you can easily make a variety of pureed vegetables and fruits and freeze until you’re ready for them.
What makes these Freezer Trays so unique?
Happy Baby have been caring for Australian babies for over 50 years. Our Freezer Trays have been specifically designed to make life easier for parents on the go.
Each portion has a rounded edge which makes removing food portions much simpler, and cleaning is easier too with no tricky corners for food to hide in.
A Smart Portion
Each freezer tray set contains our healthy, fresh recipes that have been perfectly sized to fit exactly one tray of food for baby. No more wondering what to do with the leftovers. And when it comes time for baby to eat, you simply select the number of 25g portions you require and pop them neatly into the compatible Smart Portions™ Snack Pots or Click ‘n’ Go Bowl, ready to defrost and serve. It couldn’t be easier.
Trays come in a pack of three, in three distinct, vibrant colours to allow for easy identification of different contents. So you can prepare fresh, healthy food for your baby in advance and serve just the right amount whenever you need it.
Of course, all of the trays are stackable, so storage in your freezer is nice and compact.
